Claiborne County Family Receives Water Service: Not only did Casie Beason of New Tazewell, TN become a homeowner, she also received clean, safe drinking water from Claiborne Utilities District. Rural Development provided Claiborne Utilities District a loan and grant contribution to extend water lines to households in the Minton Hollow Road area where most of whom had contaminated water sources. Ms. Beason was one of the 36 families that benefited from this water line project. "Claiborne County Utilities has brought about many changes and improvements for the well being of the people of our community in the last 50 plus years," said Carl Doane, CEO of Claiborne Utilities District. "And with the continued support of our community and employees in our endeavors, we will continue into the next 50 years with continued success for both the District and our customers."
